AIEP is an architecture of knowing as much as it is a web protocol.

It is a proposal that knowledge grows through:
- publication
- dissent
- evidence
- recall

Universities and research organisations are natural participants because their work already depends on structured disagreement and replication.

## For professors

AIEP provides a publication pattern that can make research outputs more machine-readable and easier to verify. It supports competing views without forcing premature consensus.

## For students

AIEP creates real build opportunities:
- publishing toolkits for Mirror endpoints
- validators and linters
- retrieval demonstrations
- vertical applications that prove the architecture

## “Free until you profit”

For education and students, engagement is intended to be free until meaningful commercial success is achieved. If a vertical is built via an institution, participation can be structured so the institution benefits, subject to formal agreement.

AIEP aims to disseminate knowledge and opportunity, not centralise it.
